3 delicious tropical drinks for summer thanks to the POM yum bunch

This is a sponsored post on behalf of POM Yum Bunch. All opinions are my own and once you try these beverages, your opinions will be mine as well.

Since our family summer plans don’t include a fancy tropical vacation, or any vacation for that matter, I have found a way to bring the tropical vacation to me, thanks to the aptly named POM Yum Bunch.

Tropical cocktails using POM Yum Bunch

  • POM Hula
  • POM Coconut
  • POM Mango

Yes, after discovering this island-inspired bunch of yum, I’ve decided to turn my boring summer plans into an island adventure by turning lemons into pomegranate & tropical fruit flavored adult beverages that I will be enjoying poolside this summer.

Here are three yummy adult beverages that will make you wanna pick up a ukulele and start strumming Tiny Bubbles.

POMa Colada (aka Pomegranate Piña Colada)

Pomegranate Pina Colada with POM Hula and POM Cocnut

  • 4 oz. Coconut Cream
  • 2 fl. oz  POM Hula
  • 2 fl. oz POM Coconut
  • 3 fl. oz. white rum
  • 2 cups of ice
  • Blend all the ingredients in a blender
  • Pour into a hurricane glass
  • Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a sprinkle pomegranate seeds (not shown in the picture).

Seriously, friends, drink this on a hot summer day with some Bob Marley playing in the background and I’m pretty sure a hot cabana boy will appear to spray you with cool mist and reapply your cocoa butter tanning lotion. Either way, as long as you have a a POMa Colada, every little thing is gonna be alright.

POMango Martini (aka Pomegranate Mango Martini)

POMango Martini with POM Mango Yum Bunch

  • 1 jigger Vodka
  • 2 jiggers POM Mango
  • Shake it over ice
  • Chill the glass, sugar the rim and garnish with a fresh slice of mango

Ta da! A fancy island drink that will knock your Havaianas right off.

******

POM Tree Tropical Sangria (aka White Wine Mango Peach Sangria with Pomegranate)

Pomegranate and Tropical fruit white wine sangria with POM Mango

  • 1 bottle white wine
  • ¾ cup brandy
  • 2 (12 oz) POM Mango
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup frozen peach
  • Pour all the ingredients into a pitcher
  • Let sit in the fridge for 2-3 hours for the flavors to blend

Sip pool side, or any side, and enjoy this nectar of the gods ’til you start hearing waves crash and seagulls chirp (or shriek, what noise is that anyway?).

Sidenote: If you don’t drink alcohol, or want something fun for the kids to drink, just make any of these recipes without the booze–healthy and delicious!

If it’s not love at first sight, it will definitely be love at first taste with these delectable tropical delights. And not only are my new besties delicious, but they are also hilarious!
