woulda, coulda, shoulda

I'm feeling better today, daylight usually has that effect. The DayQuil and FREE mocha I got at Playwerx don't hurt either. It's interesting how much my mind can spin out of control after 10:00pm. I was up til 2:00 or so, mulling over my post, its contents and whether or not I should have even posted it, and then was abruptly woken up by Lily's cries at 5:00am. The binky-less three year old is not all it's cracked up to be. Though Lily went right back to sleep, Lexi woke up from Lil's cries and was bright eyed and bushy tailed. So even with three hours of sleep I am feeling good and positive today.

I'm also feeling INSPIRED by some of my comments from my previous post and I think it would be fun to have a Virtual "Woulda Shoulda Coulda" casting session via the blogosphere. I have been reading so many mom blogs in which women are feeling down and depressed, that maybe creating their own alter ego, their own Sasha Fierce, would be a fun outlet. And who knows, maybe it will spawn some creativity within them and within me to do something with it. So I'm going to work on mine--why don't you work on yours--dads are included (Sean, that means you).

Here's the deal...

Let's say I am casting for a new reality tv show/web series called "Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda." Either write or webcam your story about who you are, what you do now, and what your "woulda, coulda, shoulda" story is as your audition piece--you can post it as a comment, send it to me via email, or post it on your own blog/facebook page. And then come up with a scenario we could "play out" on the show--for example, Melanie said she would be a big time event planner caterer, so maybe her segment is partnering with Oprah's party planner/caterer team Debi Lilly and Colin Cowie to plan a ginormous event that is her creation from start to finish.

In order for this to work I need ALL my readers, even if you're not a mom (TA) or your kids are grown up (Lala), to come up with something and post it. I think this could a fun experiment but I need a lot of participation. So I'm also going to ask my blogger friends to post it on their own sites to see what we get. Maybe Deb will even make it a Prompt. I'll make the deadline next Wedensday so you have a week to come up with something.

Good Luck and Be Creative!
