Momsense #17 - Bruises, Cankers & Cleavage, Oh My!
Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 10:58PM This week's Monday Momsense is another revealing peek into my personal life as I share some Health & Beauty Tips regarding bruising, canker sores and cleavage. I mention that they are specically for the Holidays but truthfully they work ALL year round. Enjoy!
Please note: In compliance with the new FTC disclosure policy regarding blogs promoting products, I want to mention that the opinions expressed in the video are mine and are truthful based on my experience. No amount of money or gifts were received on my part in exchange for this most educational vlog. I think the check must have gotten lost in the mail (wink, wink). Also, I am by no means a doctor or an expert. My tips are based on years of experience as a little girl who used to chant "I must, I must, I must increase my bust", a partier student at UCSB, a frequenter of karaoke bars in the mid 90's and as a mom of 2 little kiddos.

OMIGOD. Awesome. And your kids are SO well behaved!!!
Okeee...sooooo I was totally enthralled by Lily's eating of the yogurt for like the first 30 seconds - cuz I'm sorry, but she totally stole the show for a second. And I don't get canker sores, so I was allowed to not listen for that small portion - but if I ever get them, I'll be sure to put Visine on them (just kidding, I heard what ya said). The bruise ointment is totally cool - I've never heard of it before. Now I can beat my kids and no one will ever know!! (Again, just kidding...but my 7 year old just walked into a wall last night because she was looking behind her at her little sister and SMACK right into a wall...my kids are graceful). And 3rd on the little bra tip - I might have to try that AFTER baby #5 is born, because right now I have cleavage coming out of my ears. But my normal/non-pregnant chest area is not blessed - in fact I had just bought a push-up bra from VS about one month before I found out I was pregnant again. Now that little teeny tiny bra doesn't even cover 1/4 of my boob. And whaddya mean 'See ya in 2010'? No more MM's before then?? I'm going on strike. j/k
OMG Mary I love the bra idea and yes I do know the chant very well. I use to say it all the time when I was young and waiting to look like my 'older" sister Marci but the years went by and so did my dreams of having that hour glass figure. Oh well. Now I think about the Garth Brooks song, "Thank God for unanswered prayers." Love ya...Jen
I have that bra and I twisted it and my back fat grew. Is that supposed to happen?
Oh Deb, I left that part out, oops! But does back fat matter if you've got cleavage for days? Though my cleavage is days, it's more like seconds.
Ugh...the dreaded back fat.
Ok. Your little video just cracked me up to no end! I know, yes, it was full of helpful stuff (I even wrote some of it down:), but the way you set it up so we could watch the kids...honestly, just too adorable and funny. I was actually watching your video last night and then I got the message today that you're following me now. Made my day-thanks! I'm sorry you weren't able to make it to chickchill. I'm sure we'll meet soon.
Laura
p.s. Your blog about "that special place"-the baby on the chest gig (so true!)...almost made my milk come in... and my kids are 14 & 16!!
Loved the twisty.
Looks good to me!!
